Come one, come all, we are going to have a ball! The Sheboygan YMCA Springers are honored to host the 2008 YMCA National Gymnastic Championships.
In order to make this elite event a huge success hundreds of volunteers are needed from set-up and take down to Opening and Closing Ceremonies and everything in between. Volunteers are needed June 23-30, 2008 for as little as two hours or as much as the entire event.
If you or your organization has what it takes to help make Sheboygan shine, then please join with us to put on the best YMCA National Championships America has ever seen!
Opportunities for volunteers are also available for youth groups, ages 14 and older as long as there is an adult chaperone.
Every YMCA National Gymnastics Championships volunteer will receive a complimentary t-shirt, credentials and a ticket to Closing Ceremony as well as entry to the event volunteered for.
In order to assure that all children participating in the games are in a safe environment, appropriate background checks will be conducted on all adult volunteers based on position and duties. It’s just one of the many ways the Sheboygan YMCA helps to protect children and other vulnerable people served by the YMCA.
